Main technology stack
Open-source container orchestration platform that automates the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. It allows users to easily manage and deploy applications across a cluster of machines, and provides features like load balancing and self-healing to ensure high availability. Kubernetes has become the de facto standard for container orchestration in the industry, and is widely used by organizations of all sizes. Therefore, I believe that as a standard in the industry is a very important skill.
Ansible is the essential tool of any IT administrator. I also use it and constantly expand my knowledge about it and the ability to use it to the best effect.
Cloud services are the future of the IT industry, which is
why AWS is crucial for my development. AWS at the moment is the most important
tool I’m using.
In my daily work, I try to use Docker for as many applications as possible. Due to its simplicity and the possibility of easy scaling.
I was responsible for workstations based on the Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and servers based on Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019.
I have experience with systems such as Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. In my daily work, I manage about hundred of virtual machines based on Linux operating systems. I deal with their backups, solving problems or building fresh machines.
In my daily work I supervise one main Mikrotik router and about 7 Cisco routers at clients’ premises. On Mikrotik I deal with such mechanisms as QoS, NAT, VPN, port and public address redirection for virtual machines and VoIP telephony.
I have had contact with hypervisors such as Hyper V or Xen, but I have the most experience managing Vmware ESXi (versions 5.0 to 7.0). I am responsible for 15 physical servers with EXSi-based virtualization. I have experience in implementing virtualization completely from scratch.
Zabbix is an open-source monitoring software that can be used to monitor the performance and availability of servers, networks, and applications. It allows users to track key metrics, set alerts, and generate reports for troubleshooting and capacity planning. I consider video surveillance to be a key component of any infrastructure, and done decently it is a huge asset
